long will it take to setup a new account?
New accounts are generally setup within a few hours. All accounts
will be ready within 8 hours. Once an account is set up, an
activation notice will be sent to you via email including your
login name, password, and other information to get you started.

Yes, you have unlimited access to use FTP and 1 2 3 WebControl,
24 hours, 7 days! As such, you can create and maintain your

A Virtual Domain means having your own domain name (http://www.yourname.com)
without having to install expensive server hardware and software.
With a Virtual Domain, you utilize our server's storage space,
however, you are still professionally represented via your own

and by your own personal e-mail address domain name (you@yourname.com).

Yes, we accept ALL non U.S customers, in fact we have
offices in North America, Australasia, and Asia. We also look
forward to expand into europe.
We are happy to host non .com .net .org domains. But you must
set them up from your countries' domain registration authority
(except Australian clients).

The answer is Yes and No.
We do not allow adult / mp3 / warez content with our regular

1 2 3 WebControl is a graphical web based web site management
tool programed by us, it allow users to upload, delete, edit
files, change file modes, create, remove, password protect directories,

may also read / send / reply E-mail with our web based E-mail
management tool. There are many other easy to use features!
Everything can be done with a click of a button.

do I upload my files to my web site?
There are two ways:
1) Use our 1 2 3 WebControl (Web Based Web Site
Management Tool).
2) Use a FTP program. If you do not have a FTP
Program, please download one of the following:
WS_FTP16.exe
for Windows3.1
Download WS_FTP32.exe
for Windows 95/98/NT
Use our
1 2 3 WebControl
Step One: Click on User
Login Menu and login.
Step Two: Scroll down to "Upload file". Under
the field "Upload File Name" put in the name you want
it to be called after it is uploaded. In the next box put in
the full location of the file on your computer.
Step Three: Hit "Begin Upload" button to start.
Use a FTP program
Step One: Start your FTP program.
Step Two: Look for a field called Host Address / IP address
and enter ftp.123webhost.com
Step Three: Enter the login name we assigned you in the
"USERID" field, and enter your PASSWORD in the "PASSWORD"
field, and click "OK".
Step Four: Double click on "www", www is the
home directory for your web site.
Step Five: Choose your files on the local machine and
click on "Upload" button.
You can now look at your web site with your web browser. (i.e.
Netscape Navigator, Internet Explorer)

To set up a virtual email account simply login to 1
2 3 WebControl. Scroll down to where it says Create Virtual
Email and create your E-mail accounts there.

do I get my mail from your server?
There are two ways in which you can read/retrieve mail from
our server.
1) Read them online using our Web E-mail Management Tool
through 1 2 3 WebControl. Our Web
E-mail Management Tool allows you read/reply/send E-mail with
your web browser, which means you can access E-mail no matter
where you are!
2) Set up your personal pop email program such as in
netscape, eudora, or microsoft outlook. Our POP and SMTP E-mail server is
located at mail.123webhost.com

do I change my password?
To change your password simply fill out the password change
form in 1 2 3 WebControl. You will
received a confirmation E-mail addressed to your primary E-mail
Address, Simply reply to that email and your password will be
changed.

Not at present, due to security problems associated with Microsoft
FrontPage Extension, and feedback from users, our company executives
and security experts decided not to support MS FrontPage at
present.
We at IMI will always operate in the best interest of our customers.
We are more than willing to sacrifice a few sign ups for a much
safer system which ensures the privacy and security of your
web site from hacker attacks.
Nevertheless our pre-installed CGI scripts will do everything
FrontPage webbot does, only better and faster!
